Disney's Animal Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Florida has a very different atmosphere to the other Disney theme parks in Orlando. It's incredible to think that you are only a few acres away from the Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot.
Animal Kingdom throws you into a world of animals, and discovery of lands, such as Africa, Asia, Dinosaurs! and more. Conservation awareness and education is high on the list of goals that Disney aim to share, which is evident here.
There are thrill rides, a safari ride, atmospheric trails with close up animal and bird encounters, special events and tours, musical shows and restaurants offering Asian, African and American meals.
