The Harlem Globetrotters are in town, stopping off at Orlando on their world tour. They will be playing at the Silver Spurs Arena on March 5th, also the UCF Arena on March 10th and if you want a chance to meet these fun and very entertaining basketball players ‘Fun Spot Orlando’ are hosting a ‘Meet and Greet ‘on Friday 1st March 2013 at 3pm. Fun Spot is situated  at 5551 Del Verde Way, Near International Drive.

What to do if medical care is needed when on vacation in Orlando.

If you or a member  of your party becomes ill when on vacation in and around Orlando, first assess the illness, if it is a minor ailment you could find a pharmacist who would probably offer you advice and over the counter medicine, pharmacists can be found in Walmart, Walgreens, Publix stores and in local shopping areas. If more serious care is needed call 911 for an ambulance or go to Centra Care who offer hospital services which cover most Insurances,  without insurance medical fees could be quite expensive.

A Chance to see the Star Wars Exhibit at Orlando Science Museum 2013.

Star wars fans have the opportunity of visiting the Star Wars Exhibit at the Orlando Science Museum at Princeton St. Orlando. See costumes and props from all six movies, video interviews with the filmmakers and engineers, join in interactive activities and you can explore where ‘Science Meets Imagination’ and discover whether these technologies could be used in real life one day.

The exhibition was developed at the Museum of Science at Boston called ‘Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination’ and  is presented by Bose Corporation and is in association with Lucasfilm Ltd.

New Orleans Mardi Gras theme at Universal Resort Orlando

Universal Studios is about to hold it’s annual Mardi Gras spectacular,

A huge display of vibrant colour, music, food and entertainment in the form of a parade street performers and big named concerts.

The parade is held on selected nights ending in a live concert  at the Music Plaza Stage.

Super Bowl Celebratory Parade at Walt Disney World Florida 2013.

Mickey Mouse and Joe Flacco the MVP of this years Super Bowl were in a special parade to celebrate the Baltimore Ravens win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Members of Joe Flacco’s family accompanied him amidst balloons, confetti  and cheers from football fans and park guests as they paraded down Main Street USA of the Magic Kingdom.
