Cocoa Beach Florida hosts Ron Jons annual surf competition April 6th to 8th 2012.

An hour’s drive from Orlando and you could be experiencing the fun, sea, sand and surfing atmosphere of the Ron Jons Easter Surfing Festival.

Surfing champions come from around the world to compete including men, women and children at various surfing competitions. There will be Easter activities for the family and surfing demonstrations, also food and merchandise.

Spiderman Ride at Universal Orlando Resort

You may have heard that Universal Orlando has recently updated The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman, this very popular attraction now has highly sophisticated equipment, with high-tech 3D glasses, updated sets, audio and lighting system, making the ride experience a thrill and stunning spectacular.

Freshwater Oasis at Discovery Cove Orlando.

Discovery cove which is very close to SeaWorld is known for it’s swimming with dolphins, but there are also other activities such as snorkelling amongst fantastic colourful fish and the soon to open Freshwater Oasis, an experience for relaxing within a tropical setting, leisurely swimming, wading through streams and seeing wildlife up close, including Asian otters and marmoset monkeys.

St Patricks Day 2012 at Downtown Disney and Universal Citywalk.

In Downtown Disney the Irish pub called The Raglan Road is holding a St Patricks Day Festival with three days of Irish food, dancing, music and entertainment.

Starting Thursday 15th March with a special lunch, then evening entertainment from 6pm.

Friday 16th March has special guests performing in the evening including Murphy’s Law and The Irish Rogues, with Irish dancing through the night.

St Patricks Day Saturday 17th March the festivities begin at 11am, live entertainment through the day for all the family with performances from the Watters School of Irish dancing and lots of exciting entertainment all evening to celebrate in the Irish way.

 

And at Pat O’Brien’s at Universal Citywalk on St Patricks Day, Saturday 17th March you will find traditional Irish food and drink, live music and children’s entertainment, with free admission until 6pm.

Epcot’s International Garden Festival 2012.

Epcot Theme Park is now holding its annual International Flower and Garden Festival at Walt Disney Resort Florida, with it’s wonderful Disney character themed topiaries on display throughout the park, special weekends, expert advice from garden professionals, designer presentations, fun and activities for children and ‘The Flower Powers Concert Series’, hosting live music from the 60’s and the 70’s.
