With us all eating to excess over the festive period I thought I’d mention that at the Universal Orlando Resort you can have the choice of healthy dining options, as many of the restaurants and eating locations use trans-fat-free oil in their cooking and at selected locations there are healthy side options for adults and children, where children’s meals come with a choice of fruit and adults can choose a side salad. Why not take a trip to the theatre, ‘A Christmas Carol’ is being presented at Theatre Downtown Orlando on Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays at 8 PM. and Sunday Matinees through to December 23rd 2012.

Great excitement was to be had at The Magic Kingdom on December 5th which was part of the official opening of the new Fantasyland Walt Disney World. A ‘DRAGON’ flew above Cinderella’s Castle, surprising guests and giving that extra special Disney magic for all to enjoy. The following day the opening ceremony took place with music and entertainment in the true Disney style.

Disney came up with a good idea that children will take notice of, ‘Wild about Safety’ cards promoting safety issues at The Animal Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Orlando they feature ‘Timon and Pumba’ the characters from The Lion King movie.
